Transitional Housing

ATLAS currently facilitates the operation of a men's and women's accountability house in the community of Sioux Center to provide temporary housing and rehabilitative support for those struggling with negative behaviors associated with alcohol and drug addiction, criminal activity, and personality disorder. The houses were established under the belief that the working of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, and the interaction with other members of the Body of Christ living in the house, and functioning in the local church, are the best way the life of the resident will continually change and restore that person to being reliable, productive participants in our society.

• 30 days free of alcohol/drug use prior to entrance
• Personal written letter upon application stating desire for admittance and plan for personal growth
• Must attend a church service of their choosing each week
• Must have a job
• Will attend a weekly support group
• Must have a mentor
• Must maintain a drug/alcohol free lifestyle
